It's pretty cool that 50 people have decided to "follow" me in their blog readers. Honestly, I am so flattered. Thanks to every one of you who stop by and read my stuff, whether you subscribe or not. It's really nice. And a special thanks to those of you have left me such sweet comments. I really enjoy sharing my creations and showing off my adorable child. Thanks for being there.
So 50 followers.....seems to me it's about time for a giveaway. No need to be an official "follower" to participate. (I see lots of giveaways that require following to enter, and I prefer that "followers" subscribe just because they want to - like each of you 50 people who have honored me so!)
'Cept I have no idea what to give! So how about this --- leave me a comment with your giveaway idea. Want some pretty fabric from my stash to make something with? Want some ribbon? Want me to make you something - like a hairclippy, or business card holder? Have a party and think the curly ribbon wreath would be a nice decoration for your door? Want something embroidered? Think about it. Don't get crazy and ask for the moon! But make a request if there is something that you really would appreciate.
I know, kind of an odd giveaway. But maybe we'll have more fun that way. I'll plan on ending the giveaway next Friday, June 18th. My blog isn't all that big and I have no idea how to spread the word about this weird giveaway, so your chance of winning might be really good!
In the meantime, here's a thank you for reading present from Delilah. KISS!
I love this picture.
Later skaters,
Janimal

very sweet of you. Loved the picture of your little girl. I just finished a ton of destashing projects so some fabric or ribbon would be cool. It's always fun to see what other people pick out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute photo! I love the idea of getting reader input on what to giveaway. Me, I like the "fabric from your stash idea." Your giveaway ends on my birthday, so maybe I'll have some birthday luck!
ReplyDeleteThis is too funny, I was going to write a similar post tonight. I'm sorry I have no ideas,, but it seems like fabric might be the way to go!!
ReplyDeleteOh oh, I would love love love one of your Popover Dresses (6m size) for my daughter!! I love it, but am not talented enough to do it myself.
ReplyDeleteOr, if that's too much, then the business card holder would be nice. I'd probably stick one of those picture holders in it (that normally go in a wallet) and use it to show off my daughter. :-)
Aw, this is such a kind and fun idea! I like the idea of something embroidered, but I'm certainly not picky!!

Do you have any manly or baseball-y material? My boyfriend played all through college and is still a huge fan. We recently went through all of his stuff and gave away a huge pile, but I could tell he didn't want to part with some of his old practice shirts and stuff so I snuck them away and told him I'd try to make him a keepsake quilt :)
ReplyDeleteI can't sew at all. Wish I could, because I'd make those CUTE kitchen towels you did!! That would be a neat prize! YOu really had a clever idea when you did those!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have either a beautifully framed photo or a business card case!
